Blue1 is an airline in Finland. It was established in 1987 and is owned by the SAS Group. It operates out of its hub at Copenhagen Airport and has its headquarter in Vantaa, Finland. At present, the Finnish airline offers flights to about 28 destinations across Finland, Scandinavia, and Europe. It is a member of the Star Alliance group. Currently, its fleet comprises planes from Boeing 717 series. It flies to some prominent cities comprising Barcelona, Oslo, Warsaw, Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Paris, Nice, Zurich, Milan, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Rome. The airline is the first in Nordic region to qualify the ISO 14001 certification. The airline is considerate about its environment and hence believes in using the resources to the best of capacity. It aims at minimizing the impact on the environment.
