Germanwings Flight Tickets

Germanwings, a Germany-based low-cost airline, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa. It is headquartered in Cologne. Germanwings operates its flights services to many destinations in Europe and elsewhere from its various hubs including Cologne Bonn Airport, Berlin Tegel Airport, Hamburg Airport and Stuttgart Airport. The airline has also announced plans to begin flights from its other domestic hubs in March 2014. The airline’s new hubs include Düsseldorf Airport, Dortmund Airport and Hannover Airport. Lufthansa has shifted its short-haul operations completely to Germanwings effective from January 2013. The short-haul flights were so far being made from Luftrhansa’s main hubs in Munich and Frankfurt. Presently, Germanwings owns a fleet of 48 aircrafts. These include three Airbus A320-211, 24 Airbus A319-132, 15 Airbus A319-112, and six Bombardier CRJ900. All the aircrafts in Germanwings’ fleet are all-economy class and either 144-seater or 150-seater.
