JetStar Pacific Airways is a subsidiary of Australia-based Jetstar Airways. Australia’s flagship carrier Qantas Airways owns Jetstar Airways Group. JetStar Pacific Airways is a Vietnam based carrier which came into being after the Pacific Airlines was acquired finally transforming it to a new airline JetStar Pacific Airways in May 2008. Qantas Airways presently owns a 27 percent stake in JetStar Pacific Airways with the remainder stake being owned by investors from Vietnam, the largest shareholder being the State Capital Investment Corporation. JetStar Pacific Airways is a low-cost carrier headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City. The airline presently owns a fleet of seven aircraft including two Airbus A320s and five Boeing 737s. JetStar Pacific Airways currently serves seven destinations in Vietnam, which includes Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Hai Phong, Vinh, Hue and Da Nang.
