Nepal Airlines, which was earlier called as Royal Nepal Airlines, was established in the year 1958. It is the flagship carrier of Nepal. Its headquarters are located in the capital city of Kathmandu while it operates out of its hub in Tribhuvan International Airport. At present, it flies to about 39 destinations across the country and abroad. Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, and Bangkok are some of the international destinations listed on its itinerary. Unfortunately, the airline is banned by the European Union to operate service across European cities. Currently, its fleet consists of DHC-6 Twin Otter, Boeing 757-200M, and Boeing 757-200 series aircrafts. It has also placed orders for Xian MA-60, and Airbus A320neo planes and expects to receive them soon. The airline allows young children to travel alone.
