TAM Airlines is a Brazilian carrier currently operating under the LATAM Airlines Group. The largest airline in Brazil as well as Latin America, TAM Airlines became a part of LATAM Airlines Group after the merger of TAM with LAN Airlines on 22nd June 2012. TAM Airlines is headquartered in Sao Paulo. The airline provides flight services to many Brazilian destinations as well as to other destinations in North America, South America and Europe. TAM Airlines is presently a member of Star Alliance, but has announced that it will be joining oneworld, a leading global airline alliance, as its member effective from 31st March 2014.
