Aer Lingus launches flights between Birmingham and Knock

Now, Aer Lingus flights will take to skies between Birmingham and Knock. The airline’s subsidiary Aer Lingus Regional started operating its flights from Birmingham to Ireland West Airport Knock for the first time. The flights were launched on June 11, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that Aer Lingus Regional, which is operated by Aer Arann, will conduct flights once daily to Ireland West Airport Knock from Birmingham offering the customers direct link between UK’s second largest city and the west of Ireland.
 
Sean Brogan, Aer Arann’s Interim Chief Executive, said that it is a matter of great delight for his company to start Aer Lingus Regional flights service between Birmingham and Ireland West Airport Knock.

He said that the vital importance of regional air connectivity and the key role that this air link to and from Birmingham provides for business, tourism and leisure travel has been acknowledged, and hoped that this route continues to be a success.
