Aer Lingus traffic increases 7% in December 2012

Most recent tariff statistics indicate that Aer Lingus flights flew a total of 734,000 passengers in December 2012, which is 7.2% higher than December 2011. The stats included in this report referred to the airlines regional operations.

Short-haul passenger traffic saw an increase of 6.5%, which long-haul traffic saw a growth of 13.4% as compared to last year’s December 2011 statistics.

Even the load factor increased as the capacity fell. Which means the total number of seats that got filled on each flight also saw an increase of 2.9 points.
