Aeromexico begins first Dreamliner service on New York City route

Mexico’s flagship carrier Aeromexico recently launched its first flight between Mexico City and New York City with its Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The airline’s inaugural flight departed from New York City to Mexico City on September 24, 2013. Aeromexico said that it will operate one of its four daily flights between New York City and Mexico City with the new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Providing details about the new aircraft, Aeromexico said that the newly-introduced Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft has unique structural and technological advances in its type.The aircraft is configured with 243 seats – 32 seats in Clase Premier (Business Class) and 211 seats in the Economy Class. According to the airline, the Clase Premier cabin offers 32 seats with a 180 degree “fully flat bed” tilt. The 211 cutting edge seats being offered in Economy Class offers greater space.

Aeromexico in a statement said that its new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft is also equipped with Sky interiors Led lighting and is outfitted with significantly larger windows for its kind of airplane, accompanied with pressurization features that effectively reduce fatigue during the flight.

Aeromexico said that the customers traveling in Clase Premier would be offered personal entertainment system with a 16-inch Elite High Definition Panasonic screen. The customers traveling in the Economy Class would be offered Eco Monitor touch screens. The customers traveling in both classes would be able to enjoy a wide variety of films and TV series. The personal entertainment system also features the Moving Maps system offering real time flight information.
