Aeromexico continues to perform well, make the best out of 2012

Mexico’s national carrier Aeromexico is continuing to perform well and is trying to make the best out of 2012.

The airline recently signed codeshare agreement with Taca and Avianca airlines to operate Aeromexico flights under joint partnership with the respective carriers. Further building on its success so far, Aeromexico also made impressive increases in business in the months of February and March this year.

In May this year, new Aeromexico flights services were inaugurated connecting the U.S. capital Washington D.C. and Mexico’s capital Mexico City.

According to the airline, passengers are now being offered Aeromexico flights tickets at cheap rates for travel these two cities. The airline disclosed that the newly-launched flights from Washington D.C. are departing at 7 am daily and arriving in Mexico City at 10.45 am, while return flights depart Mexico City at 8.35 pm daily and arrive in Washington D.C. at 1.55 am.

The airline also stated that the codeshare partnership between Avianca and Aeromexico is likely to benefit the markets in Colombia and Mexico. The airline revealed that its codeshare agreement with Taca will be rolled out during the second half of the year and will include routes in the Central/South America-Mexico markets.
