Air Canada polled as Canada’s best business airline

Air Canada has something to cheer about and feel happy. The airline has recently been voted as the country’s favorite airline for business travel. The carrier was voted as the best in the category by its passengers who participated in a 2013 survey conducted by Ipsos Reid Business Traveller Survey.

Of the frequent business travelers who polled, 81 percent unanimously voted in its favor. The survey projected the airline as Canada’s preferred airline. The categories on the basis of which the carrier won the accolades include frequent flyer reward program, flight schedule, business class service, Maple Leaf Lounges and in-flight entertainment.

The participants found the airline and its services extremely satisfying. Its overall rating improved six percent from last year. About 95 percent of the travelers expressed contentment and happiness about choosing it for their business travel in the years to come. Travelers also voted in support of the airline, as a travel partner to destinations in the United States. 73 percent polled positively in this category, which again saw a four percent improvement.

About 60 percent participants believe the airline offers frequent service to various U.S. cities, these figures also witnessed a three percent boost from last year.

The online survey was conducted by Ipsos Reid featured business travelers with a minimum of six round-trips on Air Canada flights in the last one year.

The airline is one of the largest in the world and operates service to over 175 destinations across Mexico, United States, Americas, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Caribbean, and Australia.
