Air China domestic flights to/from Chengdu to operate from Terminal 2 of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport

Air China flights to various domestic destinations within China from Chengdu will now be operating out of Terminal 2 at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.
 
The Terminal 2 (T2) at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport was inaugurated for the operations of flights on August 9, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that all Air China flights to domestic destinations to/from Chengdu will be operating out of Terminal 2 of the airport.

However, Air China’s international (regional) flights to/from Chengdu will continue to operate their flight services from Terminal 1 (T1).

According to the airline, the check-in counter for international (regional) flights would be closed 45 minutes before take-off. However, the check-in counter for domestic flights would be closed 40 minutes before take-off for flights to Lhasa, Nyingchi, Bamda, Xigaze and Ali from Chengdu, while for other domestic flights the check-in counter would be closed 30 minutes before take-off.
