Air China to start daily San Francisco-Chongqing flights

Air China announced that it is set to launch daily flights between San Francisco and Chongqing to enhance travel between the two cities. These flights will offer a comfortable, convenient, and direct access to passengers who frequent this route for business and leisure.

All flights will stopover at Beijing but move ahead using the same aircraft. As per the schedule Air China flight will depart San Francisco at 14:50 (local time) and arrive in Chongqing at 23:00 (Beijing time), the following day. The flight to San Francisco will depart Chongqing at 11:00 (Beijing time) and arrive in the U.S. city at 12:20 (local time), on the same day.

The airline will use the services of Boeing 747 aircraft to fly between the two cities. B747 is a double-decker, wide body plane that comprises a seating capacity for 337 passengers. Of these total seats, 10 will be allotted in the first class. 39 seats will be available in the business class and the rest of 288 seats will be for the economy class customers.

The carrier has pumped in huge amounts to refurbish the interiors for better comfort and enhanced luxury for its customers. First class seats on the aircraft comprise semi-enclosed private seats with 180 degree recline feature. Business class seats can also recline up to 170 degrees.
