Air France resumes daily Paris-Montreal service by A380

Air France recently resumed its daily flights to Montreal from Paris-Charles de Gaulle by deploying Airbus A380 aircraft. The airline resumed its flight services on December 12, 2011.

Air France had briefly stopped operating on Paris-Montreal route and withdrew its aircraft for a few weeks. The service was stopped to enable the airline deploy Airbus A380 aircraft on the route and standardize its fleet of A380s.

Presently, the airline is operating two daily flights to Montreal from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, including one by Airbus A380.

The new Airbus A380 aircraft now operating on the Paris-Charles de Gaulle-Montreal route is equipped with the Premium Voyageur cabin featuring a private seat area for each passenger with 40 percent additional space than in the Voyageur (Economy) cabin. The aircraft is configured in four classes – nine in Premiere on the main deck, 80 in Business Class on the upper deck, 38 in Premium Voyageur on the upper deck and 389 in Voyageur between the two decks. The Airbus A380 aircraft can accommodate up to 516 passengers.
