Air France to launch Los Angeles-Paris flights starting May 28

Air France recently announced it will be launching new flights between Los Angeles and Paris this May. Air France flights to Los Angeles International Airport from Paris-Charles de Gaulle International Airport will begin operations from May 28, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that Los Angeles will be the third U.S. destination where Air France will start operations. The other two U.S. destinations include New York and Washington.

Air France will be serving the world's entertainment capital Los Angeles with two daily flights. The airline will operate one flight with the help of an Airbus A380 aircraft, while the other flight will be conducted with the help of a Boeing 777 aircraft.

The introducing of Airbus A380 on the Paris-Charles de Gaulle-Los Angeles route will increase the capacity by 4 percent.

Air France indicated that it will be operating eight Airbus A380 aircraft to Los Angeles, New York JFK, Singapore, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Montreal and Washington in the summer of 2012.
