Air France to refurbish business class with flat beds to Seoul

Air France, a popular European airline offering service worldwide has pleasant news for its travelers to South Korea. The flagship carrier of France has announced its decision to replace all business class seats with new improved flat beds. However, these luxurious seats would only be available to travelers flying to the capital city of Seoul.

The airline is looking forward to enhance its footprints in the South East Asian nation of South Korea. It thus aims at tapping the potential business class flyers. Hence, it has gone ahead with a decision of this magnitude. KLM Royal Dutch Airline, its merger partner since the year 2004 too will offer these flat bed seats between its hub in Amsterdam and the capital city of Seoul. The South Korean capital is a hub for financial and business activities and hundreds of European travelers fly business class to the city each day. Therefore, the French airline is keen to refurbish its premium class to attract the prospective travelers to the city.

The airline however, has a long-term plan and intends to continue replacing old seats with the latest flat beads in the next three to five years. Pieter Bootsma, executive vice-president of the commercial marketing division of Air France-KLM has confirmed the news. He added further that within the next five years the airline would replace at least 60 percent of the overall seats in its premium class to the city. The airline also plans to reinstall seats on its economy class on this international sector by 2015 end.
