Air Seychelles Q3 revenue up 23 percent

Air Seychelles flights have been doing particularly well as the jubilant airline recently announced its operational results.

The airline has announced its operational results and said that its revenue earnings in the third quarter of this year increased 23 percent on the second quarter, to $13.8 million.

According to the airline, its restructuring program has now started taking effect in the drive towards profitability this year.

Air Seychelles is the strategic partner of Etihad Airways. The UAE’s national flag carrier Etihad Airways owns a 40 percent stake in Air Seychelles and has a 5-year management contract with the airline.

Air Seychelles stated that a 51 percent quarter-on-quarter increase in passengers led to a growth in its revenues. The airline said that its passenger numbers in Q2 increase to 79,887 from 53,066. The airline’s seat factors also increased to 60 percent from 43 percent. The airline also said that the international visitors traveling on domestic routes increased by 32 percent to 26,734.
