Fiji Airways is the national carrier of the Republic of Fiji. The airline was earlier known as Air Pacific. Founded in 1951, the airline operated under the name of Fiji Airways until 1971 before being named as Air Pacific. The airline was originally headquartered in Suva, but has now its headquarters in Nadi. Fiji Airways is connecting various worldwide destinations from its main hub at Nadi International Airport. The airline also conducts operations from its secondary hub at Nausori International Airport. Fiji Airways is presently providing flight services to 15 cities in the Pacific region, and to other international destinations in North America, New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong. Currently, Fiji Airways operates a fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircrafts.
