AirTran Airways stops flights to Huntsville and Sarasota

Passengers planning to take AirTran Airways flights out of Huntsville and Sarasota better now think of other options.
 
AirTran Airways flights tickets to both these destinations, Huntsville and Sarasota, would not be available now as the airline has finally grounded its flights.

The airline recently announced that it has ended its flight operations out of the Huntsville International Airport effective from August 12, 2012.

The airline’s decision not to operate its flights out of Huntsville International Airport has left the officials greatly disappointed. AirTran Airways had been operating its flights from here for the past two years.

The airports officials said that they have now started holding negotiations with other existing low cost carriers about expanding their current seat capacity and start new flight services out of here.

AirTran Airways has also stopped its flight operations out of Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The airline’s final flight departed on August 11, 2012.
