Alaska Airlines Hawaiian service to be expanded next year

Alaska Airlines recently announced that it will be expanding its flights to Hawaii Islands from next year.  The airline in a statement said it is all set to start nonstop flights to Oakland and San Jose from Honolulu. The flights will be operated on a daily basis.

Alaska Airlines is scheduled to begin its flight operations from both Oakland and San Jose from April 10, 2012. The airline will be offering promotional roundtrip fares starting for as low as US$298. The airline disclosed that the offer can be availed for travel between April 10, 2012 and June 9, 2012 from Mondays through Thursdays.

Currently, Alaska Airlines operates flights to Kona, Lihue and Kahului in Hawaii from Oakland and San Jose. Besides, the Seattle-based airline also operates flight services from Anchorage as well as from several other West Coast cities.
