Continental airlines start serving nonstop flying from its hub at Houston Bush Intercontinental to Tuxtla Gutierrez in Chiapas, Mexico. The route gives Continental service to 30 Mexican destinations. Continental says that it “serves more destinations in Mexico from the U.S. than any other airline.” Continental partner ExpressJet will operate two weekly flights on route using 50 seats Embraer 145 XR regional jets. This service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturday while return. Southbound service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays while return service will be on Thursdays and Sundays.
