Yesterday, Qantas Airways announced an additional six weekly flights on its Perth-Sydney route. This service starts from next month.

Qantas Regional General Manager Western Australia, Ian Gray said that extra flights would take the total frequency on the route from 48 to 54 return weekly flights. “The additional services will enable growth on the Perth to Sydney route and is a sign of improving passenger demand in this market,” he added.

“This improved schedule will see a greater service offering for our customers on one of our key domestic City flyer routes.”

The additional services will operate between Mondays to Saturday.
