United Continental Holdings recently announced the refunding of air tickets that were booked on flights to and from earthquake hit areas of Japan.
Passengers, who booked their tickets until 15th March 2011 on the flights that were canceled due to the earthquake in Japan, will get their tickets refunded in original form of payment.
The airline in a statement said that the local airports that have been severely hit by the earthquake are still not in a state to receive or send flights. This may lead to the delay or cancellation of certain flights to and from Japan.
