Air China has recently announced the launch of its new nonstop flight between Houston and Beijing. China's national flag carrier, Air China will commence its Huston-Beijing international flight segment from July 11, 2013.
Jianjiang Cai, President Air China said that over the years the airline saw firm growth in terms of air travel between China and the USA, hence it has decided to start this new scheduled passenger destination after a gap of almost three decades.
Starting with four flights a week, new generation Boeing 777-300ER is scheduled to operate nonstop round-trip flights between Huston and Beijing. Scheduled flights will depart from Beijing at 1500 hours (local time) and arrive Houston (IAH) at 1530 hours same day (local time). Return flight will depart Houston from 0140 hours and arrive Beijing next day at 0500 hours.
Houston is Air China's fifth gateway in North America. At present the airline flies to Vancouver, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
