Hawaiian Airlines reported that its January 2013 traffic has increased by 20.3% as compared to January 2012. As a resultant the airline flew 1.07 billion passengers in Jan 2013 as compared to 891.47 million passengers from last year.

The airline data also indicated that in January 2013 Hawaiian Airlines flights capacity increase of 24.6%. Average seat miles which were 1.07 billion in Jan 2012 rose to 1.33 billion in Jan 2013.

Even the passengers transported increased by 7.2% to 792,009 as compared to last years 738,981. Load factor saw a decline by 2.9 points from 83.4% reported last year to 80.5% for January 2013.
