Etihad Airways announced to reintroduce business class flights between Thiruvananthapuram and Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airways has repaired a two-class A320 aircraft to operate this daily route.

Thiruvananthapuram - Abu Dhabi flight will feature 16 Pearl Business Class seats. These seats will be fitted with an inbuilt massager and will have electronically controlled reclining facility and lumbar support. Etihad Pearl Business Class will offer elite passengers ample leg space, extensions for foot rest, personalized power supplies, in-arm meal tables and a 10.6 inches wide touch screen for in-flight entertainment.

Etihad Airways General Manager, Neeraj Bhatia said that Thiruvananthapuram serves has a important business and trade hub and is one of the fastest growing cities in Kerala. Due to all these reasons Etihad decided to resumes business class flights to meet the growing high-end travel need.
