Croatia Airlines recently announced it is resuming the sale of air tickets on its flights between Zagreb and London Gatwick Airport. The airline had planned to stop flying on this route during the current summer schedule, but has now said it will continue to offer flights services as usual.
A top official of Croatia Airlines was quoted in the media reports as saying that though the airline had originally planned to suspend its flights services on Zagreb-London Gatwick route this summer season, but it has now decided to continue with the service. The airline will, however, be curtailing the services on this route and will now twice weekly flights instead of the four flights that were offered in 2012.
The airline further stated that it stands by its earlier decision to suspend flights to Istanbul from Zagreb and Dubrovnik. The airline has also discontinued flights to Podgorica from Zagreb recently.
Croatia Airlines also said that it has cancelled the flights services on Pula-Paris, Pula-Hamburg and Zadar-Paris routes.
