Emirates has decided to introduce fuel surcharge on air tickets issued again Skywards reward miles. To pay off this charge passengers will have to either adjust it with their reward points or will have to pay cash.

Keeping in mind the ongoing price hike in air fuel, the airline has decided to add this charge on Skywards Reward tickets. Going forward passengers will have to pay fuel surcharge over and above their reward tickets. This charge will be exhibited under the taxes payable list on the rewards ticket of the passengers. the bottom line is that with the volatile fuel prices hike will finally make a bigger hole in the pockets of the consumers as flying with Emirates has become expensive.

Skywards frequent flyer program run by Emirates has undergone second major change in less than one month. Earlier the airline had announced increase in the number of Skywards miles needed in order to get a free reward ticket. the airline has even increased the Skywards miles needed by the passengers to upgrade doe itineraries.
