Japan Airlines has introduced new in-flights facilities for its business class passengers flying to London from Tokyo Narita. JAL passengers flying on business class seats will now be able to order their meals and buy duty free items during their Tokyo-London flight.
From April 15, 2013 B777-300ER aircraft operating between Tokyo and London will be fitted with the all new JAL Sky Suite, and will enable passengers to use the touch-panel to make use of two services. After the successful launch of this service, JAL plans to extend the same on to other routes operated by its B777 fleet.
Business Class passengers will be given a menu to choose their first meal after which they will be able to choose their drinks and meals with the help of the Touch Screen. They will be able to make use of this service till 90 minutes prior to landing. Passengers will also be able to go through the images of Duty free Items with the help of the tough screens and place orders, sitting right there in the comfort of their seats.
