Jet2 airline announced today that it has resumed its operation from Belfast International Airport. The airline due to concerns over maintenance work has lifted its temporary ban in just 2 days.
On April 8, 2013 Jet2 has made an announcement that it will not fly from Aldergrove as it has great safety concerns in context to the maintenance work going on the airport’s main runway. Due to which its aircrafts endured issues pertaining to engine.
Only after clearance from the Civil Aviation Authority, the airline has decided to resume its cheap flights from Belfast International airport. As per a spokesman Jet2 flights are operating in full swing using the alternate runway of the airport. He said all our flights are back on track and we are using the substitute North/South runway for all our arrivals and departures.
