British Airways inaugural flight to Tenerife from London Gatwick took to the skies recently. The maiden flight was a chock-a-block with dignitaries, Staff members and customers.

Ricardo Melchior, President of Tenerife said that all the islanders of Tenerife are thrilled with this new service. He further said that this new route will not only be beneficial for the economy of Tenerife but will also offer passengers a new domain to travel, as the Island of Tenerife has lots to offer in regards to leisure and business tourism.

British Airways will operate five weekly flights between Gatwick and Tenerife. Flights will leave from London Gatwick on every Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 710 hours and will land in Tenerife at 1120 hours. Since Tenerife offers both leisure and business travel opportunities, hence BA is offering both economy and business class air tickets on this route.
