The capital of Denmark, Copenhagen is famous for its various cultural and business events organized each. Copenhagen addresses itself as the music city of Scandinavia, so you can expect some of the terrific music events and festivals in the city this year. Jazz, Theater, live music and cultural festivals embellish Copenhagen every year. Take a look:
Copenhagen Jazz Festival – Each year the city streets of Copenhagen become alive with hundreds and thousands of people dancing and enjoying on the electrifying music being played. This year, you can experience the charisma of this festival from 5th – 14th July. The Jazz Festival is one of the biggest of its kind in Europe.
Tivoli Festival – Starting from May 1st to August 28th 2013, the Tivoli Festival is set to host several classical music performances with young generation of classical musicians performing for you. It is the largest classical music festival in Copenhagen.
Beer festival – Be a part of one of the Copenhagen’s merriest events – the Beer Festival, which will start from 23rd -25th May 2013. The festival is open for anyone who wants to taste various types and flavors of beer.
Copenhagen Opera Festival – Starting from 28th July 2013, the Opera festival will entertain you until 4th August 2013. Breaking the traditional custom of opera being performed only in theaters, this event will bring opera performance on streets, underground and waterways of Copenhagen. Be present to witness the dramatic merger of tradition and innovation.
