Easyjet, a popular low-coast airline of offering cheap tickets is all set allow passengers to use their mobile devices as their boarding passes. The airline currently is its mobile boarding passes facility at six airports. With this service the airline is aiming towards providing its passengers with easy and affordable travel options.
With this new technology, Easyjet aims to reduce the check-in time to less than ten seconds per passengers. The trail is being carried out at Manchester, Amsterdam, London Southend, London Stansted, Nice and Edinburgh airports.
Trial will also be testing the multiple boarding passes facility, wherein all the members of the family will be able to check-in using single mobile device. Mobile boarding pass app is available for android as well as apple devices. Passengers will be able to download their boarding passes on their gadgets, so as to use them when they are offline.
