RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2013 – The flower show is the most wonderful festival for decades now, but this year it’s going to be extra special! Scheduled to be held from 21st to 25th May 2013, the year 2013 marks the 100th anniversary of the Chelsea Flower Show. Like every year, the event will be held at London’s Royal Hospital Chelsea, where the ground of the hospital will be transformed into a garden exhibiting small gardens and a variety of flowers.
Spitalfields Music Summer Festival – The event will start from 7th June and end on 23rd June 2013. The two-week festival features an electrifying concert with a mixture of classical, opera, jazz, folk and pop music. The festival will showcase over 40 events, to be held at different venues across the town.
Coronation Festival – Starting from 11th June to 14th July 2013, this festival will mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation. Over the festival period, you will witness a spectacular amalgamation of art, cultural and crafts events.
London Indian Film Festival – ‘Celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema,’ the festival to be held from 18th to 25th July 2013, will move on this theme this year. The event will feature short films, documentaries, dramas, live performances from comedians, and Bollywood music and dance blockbusters. You can expect Q&As, seminars and live music events.
Other events include, London Wonderground (7th May to 29th September 2013), Filed Day Festival 2013 at Victoria Park (25th May 2013), Tchaikovsky’s ‘SWAN LAKE’ at Albert Hall (12th to 23rd June 2013) except 17th June.
