EasyJet, the dominant low cost carrier offering cheap tickets from London Southend, recently announced the launch of its alternative route between London Southend and Edinburgh.
The airline started operating its flights on London Southend-Edinburgh route six times every week. This is the airline’s sixth London gateway.
EasyJet in a statement said it will be offering its services to Edinburgh from London Southend on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1.30 pm. The flights arrive at Edinburgh at 2.45 pm. The return flights from Edinburgh would depart at 3.10 pm and arrive at London Southend at 4.30 pm.
The airline is currently offering a total of 28 flights every week from Edinburgh from four London gateways – Gatwick, Stansted, Southend and Luton.
