Iceland’s flag carrier Icelandair recently resumed its seasonal flights services from Halifax to Reykjavik. The airline began operations of its seasonal flights from Halifax Stanfield International Airport starting June 1, 2013.
The airline in a statement said that it will be operating two nonstop flights every week from Halifax. The flights would be operated on Thursdays and Saturdays. The departures from Halifax would be at 6.40 pm.
Icelandair has also indicated that it will be increasing its frequency on Halifax-Reykjavik route to three flights every week. The increased frequency would start from June 18 and shall continue to be operated until November 4, 2013.
To celebrate the service, the passengers are being offered cheap flights for travel between the two destinations. According to the airline, the passengers would be provided a $100 discount when purchasing their cheap tickets latest by June 5, 2013.
