Passengers booking business class flights on Japan Airlines will now get an enhanced flying experience. Japan Airlines recently announced it will be installing new business class seats on its Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts.
Apart from business class, Japan Airlines also stated that it will install new seats in the economy class as well on its two-class Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts. The rolling out of new seats in both economy class and business class is part of the airline’s ongoing upgrade exercise.
The airline’s new business class will be called JAL Sky Suite II. The airline will be fitting 24 fully flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. Currently, there are 30 seats in the business class cabins. The newly installed business class seats would be equipped with a 15.4 inch touchscreen in-flight entertainment system, universal power outlets and USB ports.
Japan Airlines in a statement said that it will be installing new economy class and business class seats in nine of its Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts. Currently, the airline has 32 Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts in its fleet.
