Malaysia Airlines has been presented 5-Star Airline Certification at the recently-held SKYTRAX World Airline Awards 2013. Malaysia’s national flag carrier has now joined an elite group of airlines for its high quality products and best services.

Malaysia Airlines was also presented with the prestigious ‘Best Airline Signature Dish’ award for serving the traditional Malay dish ‘Satay’ in its first class as well as business class flights. The airline has won this award for the second consecutive year. The airline was given the award at a ceremony held at the world-renowned Paris Air Show 2013 in Le Bourget, France.

The on-board dining of Malaysia Airlines was selected as the best in the skies. Malaysia’s traditional dish ‘Satay’ was judged as the best signature dish being served by any airline on board its flights. According to the airline, its signature ‘Satay’ dish is grilled chicken and beef skewers prepared in spicy peanut sauce.

Malaysia Airlines has earlier this year joined oneworld alliance, which has been named ‘World’s Best Airline Alliance’ at the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards 2013.
