Passengers buying business class tickets on Qatar Airways must be a happier lot. Qatar Airways won three awards at the recently concluded annual Skytrax 2013 World Airline Awards during the Paris Air Show.

Qatar Airways proudly announced that it has been presented with ‘World’s Best Business Class’ and ‘World’s Best Business Class Lounge’. The airline has also won ‘Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East’ award for the second consecutive year.

Doha-based Qatar Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. The airline has rapidly grown in its 16 years of operations. The airline is presently operating a modern fleet of 125 aircrafts and offering services to 128 key business and leisure destinations across the Americas, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific.

Akbar Al Baker, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, said that the airline considers these awards as highly rewarding, and acknowledges the fact that the passengers have judiciously voted taking into account overall experience felt by them when traveling with the airline.
