Malaysia Airlines, the national flag carrier of Malaysia announced its decision to re-launch service to the Gulf city of Dubai beginning August 5, 2013. The Dubai-Kuala Lumpur return services will use the Boeing 777-200 aircrafts with a seating capacity of 282 per flight.
Customers can now book their business class tickets with the airline as it has promotional offers running on purchases made until midnight July 22, 2013. The offer is valid for travel between Aug. 6, 2013 and Sep 30.
As per the schedule form August 6 onwards the airline will take off from Dubai at 4.10 am and land Kuala Lumpur at 3.25 pm. The airline will leave Kuala Lumpur airport at 11.30 pm and touchdown Dubai airport at 2.20 am the next day.
Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Malaysia Airline’s CEO said that the airline had suspended Dubai route due to the company’s route rationalization exercise undertaken in January 2012. Expressing his delight at the re-launch he further added that they keep a check on the markets and are happy to extend their reach to the city and strengthen services to their customers.
