Qatar Airways, the flag carrier of Qatar announced the launch of Airbus A330 into its fleet on the Doha-Istanbul route. The new airline will add 24 business class seats along with 258 economy class seats and increase the overall capacity onboard.
The new airline is equipped with seatback TV screens for passengers to enjoy the next generation interactive onboard entertainment system. One will get a chance to pick from 1000 audio and video on demand options.
Akbar al-Baker, Chief Executive Officer at Qatar Airways said that the airline is absolutely delighted to introduce wide body aircraft on its Istanbul route after serving Turkey for almost 10 years. He further added that passengers flying business class can now enjoy improved services and enhanced comfort.
Qatar Airways is headquartered in Doha and operates out of its hubs at Doha International Airport and Hamad International Airport. At present the airline flies to about 128 prime business and holiday destinations in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Americas.
