Fiji Airways, the flag carrier of Fiji announced that it held a special event at Los Angeles International Airport to celebrate the launch of A330 service to the city. The airline said it will operate direct flights to the American city six times a week.
Fiji is a popular tourist destination and receives a lot of American tourists. The airline is said to have increased the frequency of its flights to meet the growing traffic. The airline has plans to operate seven flights a week from December this year and further raise the number to eight during peak season.
Customers can book their business class seats on Fiji Airways and travel direct to one of these destinations. The airline has revamped its in-flight décor. It also aims at giving its customers a luxurious experience and therefore has added new meal options, crockery and linen for the long distance flight.
Business class customers will be able to enjoy wine cellar, bed measuring 76 inches, Panasonic 15.4-inch LCDs, handset that comprises credit card reader and keyboard, noise cancelling audio jack and a USB port.
The airline has its hub at Nadi International Airport.
