offer food menu on its first class flights.
Passengers with effect from March 4, flying long-haul First Class
Flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Washington DC, Boston, New
York and Newark will be the ones to enjoy this feast. The new menu will
comprise the likes of roasted tomato, marinated artichoke heart, and
olive and mozzarella skewer hors d'oeuvre along with your cocktails, for
starters green bean salad, healthy mixed-herb, a protein plate with
mixed nuts and edamame hummus or chicken breast with apple fig compote
for entree.
For desserts Virgin America has contacted Humphry Slocombe, the most
popular ice cream maker in San Francisco. Humphry Slocombe is famous for
its unique flavors, innovative creations and unusual combinations.
First Class Passengers during their flight will get to choose from
ButterByMoodlight - a smooth textured combination of blueberry glaze and
brown butter; RedHotBanana - sweet cinnamon spice from mashed Red Hot
candies combined with buttery banana cream or CoconutBlondAmbition
creamy coconut, lemon citrus sorbet and vanilla marshmallow fluff, a
signature recipe of Humphry Slocombe.
