British Airways Adds More Routes from London Gatwick

British Airways recently announced its summer expansion plan. This is one of the biggest ever summer schedule announced by BA so far. It will add more routes and increase frequency on few of its existing routes from London Gatwick.

Giving further details BA said that it has connected to Malta from Gatwick and have increased flights to Naples to 17 weekly from 14 and flights to Faro to 14 weekly from 8.  The airline will also connect LGW to Friedrichshafen, Germany and to Grenoble, France from December 1, 2014.

Daily flights are now going to operate to jersey and additional flights have been added on flights to Catania, Paphos, Dubrovnik, Marrakech and Salzburg. Flights to Punta Cana, one of its very popular long-haul services will also be increased to three from existing two flights per week.

Antigua flights will be six from present five, Orlando’s will be 13 from ten weekly, St. Lucia will now be connected daily and flights to Kingston will be increased to four from the at present three.

Apart from the new and additional flights, British Airways also announced the delay of its Philadelphia flights from London Heathrow. Earlier it had planned to launch this four times a week service from June 5, 2014. However, now it will be launching its B787 Dreamliner service from July 1.
