British Airways announce partnership with Japan Airlines

The customers can now look forward to British Airways flights to Japanese cities in association with Japan Airlines.

The national flag carrier of UK British Airways recently announced it has entered into a partnership with Japan’s national carrier Japan Airlines. The partnership will enable both the carriers to offer services between Japan and Europe.

Both the carriers began their joint operations effective from October 1, 2012 and are now offering seamless air connectivity between Japanese and European cities.

The partnership between British Airways and Japan Airlines is also aimed at offering a wide range of travel options for the customers as well as enhanced frequent flyer benefits.

Both the carriers – British Airways and Japan Airlines – are members of the leading global airline alliance ‘oneworld’. The two carriers started their codeshare flights between London’s Heathrow Airport and Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and Narita Airport. The current partnership between the two airlines would offer great options to the customers, not only between Japan and UK, but to several European destinations.
