British Airways begins flights to Algiers, Nice from London Gatwick

British Airways recently announced it has added two new destinations to its London Gatwick network this summer season.

The airline in a statement said that British Airways flights to the North African city of Algiers are now being served daily. The flight operations to the Algerian capital Algiers has been moved from London Heathrow on to London Gatwick.

The airline stated that there is currently no direct competition on the A319-operated route.

Algeria’s flag carrier is presently operating five flights every week to Algiers from London Heathrow.

Apart from Algiers, British flag carrier British Airways will be offering flights to the French city Nice from London Gatwick International Airport this summer season.

Passengers can book British Airways flights tickets to Nice from London Gatwick, to be operated three-times every week.

The airline revealed that the Nice market has one of the highest number of weekly departures across all London airports. 

However, another British carrier easyJet competes with British Airways, offering 23 flights every week to Nice.
