British Airways launches flights between Venice and London

British Airways recently announced the launch of its flights services between Venice and London. The airline in a statement said that British Airways flights between London City Airport and Italian city of Venice will be operated six times every week.

According to the airline, the leisure route from London City Airport would be operational round the year. The airline’s decision to begin flights services between London and Venice comes after the successful launch of flights to other holiday destinations, including Malaga, Ibiza and Palma.
With the launch of new flights to Venice, British Airways has now started operating flights to 23 destinations from London City Airport.

British Airways’ General Manager Commercial at London City Luke Hayhoe said that the airline is delighted to begin its flights services to this popular winter and summer route of Venice.

He said that there had been a growing demand from the airline’s customers to introduce year-round short break destinations, which take only couple of hours flying time from London City.
