British Airways launching London Gatwick-Las Vegas route from October 29

British Airways recently announced it will be launching a new route between London Gatwick and Las Vegas in October this year.

The airline in a statement said that British Airways flights between London Gatwick Airport and Las Vegas International Airport will start flight operations from October 29, 2012.

The airline will operate London Gatwick-Las Vegas flights services three times per week. The airline will also deploy a three-cabin Boeing 777 aircraft on the route, offering a premium Club World cabin with fully flat beds.

British Airways stated that the new Gatwick route will be offering more choice and frequency to the travelers from London airports. The airline, together with the London Heathrow service, currently operates 10 flights every week to Las Vegas.

Colm Lacy, British Airways’ Head of Commercial Gatwick, said that Las Vegas has already proved to be a popular year-round destination from London Heathrow, and so the airline is delighted to offer flights services from London Gatwick route as well.
