British Airways Provides Ipads to Their Pilots

British Airways in order to improve its operational efficiency and customer service is equipping its pilots with iPads. As part of a 5 billion pound investment in new equipments and technology the airlines has decided to provide its 3600 pilots with the Apple gizmo.

After equipping its cabin crew and ground staff with iPads, British Airways decided to make this move. The airline strongly feels that with the advent of this new technology in their airlines they will be able to offer their customers with enhanced flying experience.

The airline feels that when their pilots will have access to real time operational data, they will be able use this accurate data to plan their British Airways flights more efficiently. This invariably will result in the cabin crew passing on more accurate information to in-flight passengers. Not only this, pilots on the basis of current and historic data provided by the customers will be able to provide them with more personalized in-flight service.
