Cape Air to launch daily flight on St. Thomas-Tortola route

Cape Air has announced its decision to launch daily flights between St. Thomas and Tortola. The Massachusetts based airline is expanding its presence in the Caribbean. The new nonstop service will commence on December 16, 2013.

As per the schedule the flight will depart St Thomas at 2:30 pm and arrive in Tortola at 2:50 pm. The return flight will depart Tortola at 12:40 pm and arrive in St. Thomas at 12:55 pm. Passengers can now book their Cape Air tickets and enjoy their short haul journey to these island destinations.

Linda Markham, President of Cape Air said that the airline discontinued its daily service on the route from December 2012. She added that increased demand on the route has forced the airline to resume this service. She further added that the carrier had to give in to the requests of the local communities and offer daily flights. She expressed her pleasure at the decision to resume operations between these cities.
