Caribbean Airlines launches daily Port of Spain-St. Lucia flights

Caribbean Airlines recently introduced nonstop daily flights between Port of Spain and St. Lucia’s George F.L. Charles Airport.

Caribbean Airlines flights to St. Lucia will offer the passengers direct connections to South America, with a daily connection to Caracas via Trinidad.

Besides, the passengers can also make Caribbean Airlines flight reservations as the airline will also provide four weekly connections to Paramaribo, Suriname and daily connections to Guyana.

Robert Corbie, Acting Chief Executive of Caribbean Airlines, said that the addition of this route will provide the passengers with more options for travel within the Caribbean.

Corbie also said that St. Lucia is of strategic interest to the airline, which stepped up its intra-regional flights, following the entry of the Barbados-based carrier RedJet.

With the launch of flights to St. Lucia, Caribbean Airlines is also aiming to attract students attending the region’s major university campuses in Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad to fly with it after availing cheap tickets.
